People need to consider that human beings are fluid... as far as gender expression and identity, and closely related, but not the same, in sexuality as well... It surprises me that a good amount of people I have encountered have not had an anthropology or sociology class, to let them know that gender is a SOCIAL CONSTRUCT. It is an arbitrary based, yet fundamental part of being human (for some), and I think it is an especially powerful tool when reclaiming your body or authentic self versus strict (binary) taught gender ideas and what is acceptable.
